Synthomer Ossett Switch Room Upgrade

Following a periodic electrical inspection the Site Engineer contacted MDB Engineering as the site’s main switch room required an extensive upgrade to become compliant with BS 7671. The works could be carried out over weekends and so our engineers worked around the clock from Friday afternoon until Sunday night over three weekends. The works were planned so that on each occasion we could ensure that at the end of our work period the site was fully operational. Whilst changing the distribution equipment we also carried out a rationalisation of the distribution system allowing a number of distribution boards to be removed without replacement saving the client space and money.
