NICEIC Hazardous Area
Having worked in Hazardous Area environments for over a decade we cemented this expertise in 2014 by becoming one of a very limited number of contractors to achieve the NICEIC Hazardous Area accreditation. Successfully passing this rigorous audit clearly demonstrates our commitment and expertise in this highly demanding area.
CompEx
The CompEx Scheme is now the global solution for validating core competency of employees and contractors of major users in the gas, oil & chemical sectors. The majority of our electrical engineers are CompEx trained and certified which makes evident our knowledge and expertise.
CHAS
The Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme is a leading UK health and safety assessment scheme and prequalification service. Working regularly within the public sector for local authorities and the NHS it was an obvious route for MDB to demonstrate commitment and compliance to working safely and delivering success.
SAFE Contractor Approved
Widely regarded throughout the construction industry as a leading health, safety and environment auditor. MDB hold Principal Contractor status within the scheme having demonstrated our ability and competence in managing and delivering projects safely, effectively and within the framework of legislation.
PICS Auditing
As part of our work with Cemex Materials UK we are annually audited by PICS Auditing who are a highly demanding global prequalification service who work with some of the biggest international blue chip companies in their list of customers.
ConCom
ConCom is a joint contractor auditing scheme that meets the collective needs of a group of large industrial client companies on the Humber Bank such as Synthomer, BP and Centrica. This audit makes an assessment of the competences and processes of contractors such as ourselves to ensure they are developed enough to deliver safety and success in these heavy industrial environments.
Environment Agency
To give you peace of mind MDB are registered as higher tier waste carriers with the Environment Agency to ensure we are compliant with regulations for transporting and removing waste from site.
