Arla NDC LED Installation

MDB Engineering carried out a complete replacement scheme of the warehouse lighting in the Arla Foods National Distribution Centre in Leeds. The existing 400W SON high bay light fittings were replaced with 72W Saturn LED’s. The site was ‘live’ throughout the works as no disruption to services was feasible and MDB management ensured a safe and efficient working method through demarcation, traffic management and collaboration with the client. The works were delivered on time, on budget and without operational disruption. The client’s saving in terms of electrical efficiencies overtook the project costs within two years which confirmed the project’s success against the design brief.
